ABOUT GRACE COMMUNITY CHURCH

“Growing a Healthy Church to Impact Our World”

Grace Community Church was founded in October of 1945 and has been ministering as a church in Nassau, Bahamas for the past 80 years. Its roots are in the Plymouth Brethren tradition. Grace is a small church with a motto that says, ‘growing a healthy church to impact our world’. It has a strong focus on world missions and reaching our local community. This includes support for several foreign missionaries and mobilization of teams of persons from The Bahamas to conduct short term mission trips to the Caribbean and beyond for more than 30 years. The local missions include ministry to the schools in the Marathon area in particular, government schools in New Providence and the Family Islands. The mission of the church is to make disciples by bringing people to Jesus Christ and membership in his family and to develop them to Christ-like maturity in the church and equip them for their life mission in the world, to magnify God’s name.
