Welcome to Grace Community Church located on Grace Avenue in Palmetto Village, Nassau, Bahamas. Grace Community Church is a vibrant and welcoming family of believers. We’re delighted you’re here and invite you to embark on a journey of faith, fellowship, and purpose with us.

Services At Grace

All services are provided free of charge to members of the congregation and members of the community.
  • Sunday Worship Services: We offer two Sunday morning worship services for our members and the community: 7:30 am and 11:00 am.

  • Sunday Christian Education Classes: We offer free breakfast at 8:30 am and classes for children and adults at 9:30 am. The classes for adults include a choice of subject under three categories: Bible doctrine, Spiritual Development and Life Development.

  • Pastoral Counseling: Provided by Pastors of the church based on appointments and the occasional walk-ins, premarital, marital, family counseling, and crisis counseling, matters can be referred for professional assistance.

  • Group Support: The Family: People Helping People, program founded by Dr. David Allen. The targeted population is the Marathon area but open to the entire community. The sessions are designed for individuals to share their stories in a safe environment, receive healing and encouragement, experience transformation and encourage others

  • Children Ministries: AWANA on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm, Ministry Seekers, skill training on Sunday mornings @ 9:30 a.m. GCC Kids Sunday School at 11:40 a.m. on Sundays.

  • Youth Ministries: Word of Life – Discipleship focused on Tuesdays @ 6:30 p.m. Ignite – Fellowship focused on Fridays @ 6:30 p.m

  • Literacy Program: G.R.A.C.E Initiative is a reading program designed to assist children, adolescents and adults who are unable to read or are reading below their appropriate grade level or below the level where they can function in society. Sessions are offered free of charge on Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. and the sessions correspond with the regular school period from September to June

  • Adult Ministries: Sunday Worship Services, Men & Ladies Fellowship events, Small Groups, Christian Education Classes.

  • Special Services: baptisms, weddings, funerals, baby dedications, building dedications.

  • Deaf Ministry: Ministry provided for the hearing impaired. Interpreters provided at all public services.

  • Food Distribution: Compassion ministry that provides monthly food boxes to persons in need.

What are the service times at Grace Community Church?

We hold services every Sunday at 7:30 am and 11:00 am. Children's Ministry is available during both Sunday services.​ We also hold a corporate prayer service on the first Wednesday of each month.  Our corporate prayer service starts at 6:30 pm.

Where is Grace Community Church located?

We are located on Grace Avenue in Palmetto Village. We are known in the Marathon constituency as the “White Church with the Basketball Court”.  For detailed directions, please visit our Contact Us page.​

Is parking available at the church?

Yes, we offer ample onsite parking. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to ensure a smooth experience.​

What should I expect during a service?

Our services typically last about 90 minutes and include a combination of traditional and contemporary worship music, prayer, and a Bible-based sermon. We aim to create a welcoming

Is there a dress code?

We encourage you to come as you are. Whether you prefer casual or formal attire, all are welcome.​

Is there a Nursery and/or Nursing Mothers' room?

Yes, we have a comfortable and well-maintained Nursery for children ages 0-4.  The Nursery provides private spaces for nursing mothers as well.
